Accomplishments

The accomplishments below were achieved by a great team that I was fortunate to lead.

High Definition Rebuild

Project Manager for HD rebuild of KTTV and KCOP, accomplished in 90 days, while keeping both stations on the air, 24/7.

On cutover day we switched both stations to HD at 5:00 AM. Fox 11 began broadcasting 15 KTTV News Controlcontinuous hours of live HD news coverage of the worst California wildfires in years. At 8:00 PM fire coverage was switched to My 13 so
Fox 11 could air the World Series game at 8:00 PM.

Skipping the trial-by-fire cliché, on the air it was flawless–behind the scenes it was remarkable.

Mt. Wilson Transmitter Facility

Project Manager responsible for the design and build of state-of-the-art transmitter facility–consisting of a three-story building Mt. Wilson Transmitter Facilitywith underground connecting tunnel, two 10,000 gallon underground storage tanks and a 350 foot broadcast tower.

Project was future built with the latest in seismic design and construction.
